KVK Recruitment JANJGIR 2024: Applications are invited from the native residents of Chhattisgarh in the prescribed format given in the detailed advertisement by ordinary post speed post registered post addressed to Senior Scientist and Head Krishi Vigyan Kendra Janjgir Champa 495668 till 5:00 PM on 28 August 2024 for appointment through contract on fixed salary on the following posts in Krishi Vigyan Kendra Janjgir Champa operated in Indira Gandhi Agricultural University. Applications received after the prescribed date will not be considered. Krishi Vigyan Kendra Janjgir Champa will not be responsible for late application received by post. Applications received directly in the office personally or by courier will not be accepted.
Attach all self-attested certificates and latest passport size photo with the application form.
The University will have full authority to fill/not fill all the above posts and to increase/decrease the number of vacant posts and in case of any dispute, the decision of the University will be final and acceptable to all.
The recruitment process will be done as per the provisions prescribed in Indira Gandhi Agricultural University Contract Recruitment Guidelines Co./St.-04/File Co. -114/2020/6414 Raipur dated 20.01.2020.
Reservation for Scheduled Tribe, Scheduled Caste and Other Backward Class candidates will be as per Chhattisgarh Public Service (Reservation for SC/ST and OBC) Rules 2012.
30 percent reservation in each cadre will be available for local women candidates of Chhattisgarh as per rules.
06 percent reservation for disabled persons will be available as per rules.

Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Classes are required to attach permanent caste certificate issued by the competent authority. In the absence of certificate, it will not be possible to give the benefit of reservation. If necessary, the university can check the validity of the certificate.
On the last date of submission of application form 28.08.2024, the age of the candidate should not be less than 18 years and not more than 35 years. Attach certificate for verification of date of birth.
For relaxation in age limit for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Class candidates, female candidates, it will be as per the rules and conditions of Chhattisgarh Government.
The personnel working at various levels in Indira Gandhi Agricultural University will get relaxation of 05 (five) years in the maximum age limit.
Retired employees can be appointed to the post of Assistant Grade-II till the age of 70 years. Employees working in Government/Semi Government institutions will have to submit their application form along with the No Objection Certificate from the employer. In case of receiving an advance copy of the application form, the No Objection Certificate from the employer will have to be submitted at the time of interview, otherwise they will not be able to appear in the skill test.
Separate applications will have to be made for different posts.
Unreserved/OBC candidates will have to attach a demand draft of Rs. 300/- and SC/ST candidates will have to attach a demand draft of Rs. 200/- in the name of Senior Scientist and Head, KVK, Janjgir-Champa with the application form. The amount will not be refunded under any circumstances.
Incomplete, unclear, erroneous and delayed applications will be rejected. And no information will be given in this regard.
Contractual appointment will be made initially for 01 year or project period or regular appointment on the post (posting by selection/promotion), whichever is less. In case the post is not filled regularly, the contractual appointment can be extended 02 times by 01 year each with the prior permission of the university, for which there will be no need to do a separate appointment process. In no case, contractual appointment will be made for a period more than 03 years. After completion of 03 years of contractual appointment, it will be necessary to do the appointment process again.
A person appointed on contract will be eligible for casual leave and optional leave like regular employees. But no other type of leave will be given. Casual leave and optional leave will be given on proportionate basis for full months.
If any candidate is appointed on contract, he will not make any claim for regularization nor will that particular person be given any priority/exemption at the time of regular recruitment against that post.
Apart from the fixed salary, no other allowances will be payable on contract. But the person appointed on contract will get the TA/DA fixed for that post. If retired employees from State Government/ State Government Board Corporation/ Commission/ University/ Authority etc. are appointed, then they will be paid salary as per the rules of Chhattisgarh Government. The salary of the employee working on contract will be drawn against the vacant regular post/ ad-hoc post in the project/ Krishi Vigyan Kendra. The amendments made from time to time by Chhattisgarh Government in contract salary and TA/DA will also be applicable in the University from the same date. If the work of the candidate is not satisfactory, his services can be terminated by giving a notice of one month.
The appointed person can also resign from the service by giving a notice of one month.
Interview will not be organized for selection; recruitment will be done on the basis of merit.
Skill test will be taken for the post of Assistant Class-II and Driver.
The selected candidates will have to give an undertaking on a stamp paper of Rs. 50/- before reporting for duty. The undertaking will be signed by the candidate and will be kept safe in the office of the controlling officer. It will be the responsibility of the concerned candidate to prepare the undertaking and submit it.
Any candidate who has married before the minimum age fixed for marriage will not be eligible for appointment to any service or post.
Any male candidate who has more than one wife alive or a female candidate who has married a man who is already married and whose wife is alive, will not be considered eligible for the service of the University.
A candidate who has more than two children, one of whom was born on or after 26.01.2001, will not be eligible for appointment.
If any information is found to be false after selection, the appointment made will be terminated. Also, legal action will be taken against the concerned person.
Write the name of the post applied for and the pay scale clearly on the envelope.
Along with the application form, a self-addressed envelope with a postage stamp of Rs. 5 must be attached.
The list of eligible and ineligible candidates will be uploaded on the University website www.igkv.ac.in and the website of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Janjgir-Champa www.kvkjanjgir.in. Candidates who have to submit their claim objection will submit it within 07 days of the list being published. Claim objection received after the due date will not be considered.
